50 years ago Pholas Dactylus from #Milan #Italy, released their debut (and only) studio album in the 70s, the band would in fact split soon after, to reunite 40 years later.
Concerto Delle Menti is a musical journey divided into 2 sides-parts, to me really a hell of an album!
Vocals in Italian are entirely #SpokenWord, a psychedelic narration on biblical and apocalyptic visions abruptly cut at the album's end.
All accompanied by a guitar and piano driven crescendo in which elements of #JazzRock, #AvantGarde, #HeavyMetal, #SpaceRock and surprisingly #KrautRock (#PholasDactylus toured in fact only with Amon Düül II in their short life) perfectly coexhist.
