🎼18 April 1974. Happy Birthday🥳🍾to Mr. Mark Tremonti, born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He's founding member and guitarist of Alternative Rock, Heavy Metal bands #Creed and #AlterBridge, both multi-million records selling! Since 2011 he's also the leader and vocalist of his own band #Tremonti.
This guy has of course Italian origins... but maybe he's not aware of where his forefathers come from, which I'm 100% sure! 😳
There is only one in place in #Italy where everybody is called Tremonti and it's 15 minutes drive from #myhometown in the Dolomites 🏔😃
I'm still looking at the best way to contact Mark and let him know ! 😁
In the Chat Room👇 I post my favorite #MarkTremonti song and some info about... that place in the #Dolomites 👍🔝
As always if you have any Tremonti, Creed, Alter Bridge song you like... you're more than welcome 😉

Pholas Dactylus
📀 Concerto Delle Menti
#ProgressiveRock #RPI

50 years ago Pholas Dactylus from #Milan #Italy, released their debut (and only) studio album in the 70s, the band would in fact split soon after, to reunite 40 years later.

Concerto Delle Menti is a musical journey divided into 2 sides-parts, to me really a hell of an album!

Vocals in Italian are entirely #SpokenWord, a psychedelic narration on biblical and apocalyptic visions abruptly cut at the album's end.
All accompanied by a guitar and piano driven crescendo in which elements of #JazzRock, #AvantGarde, #HeavyMetal, #SpaceRock and surprisingly #KrautRock (#PholasDactylus toured in fact only with Amon Düül II in their short life) perfectly coexhist.

In this album:
#PaoloCarelli - voice
#EleinoColladet - guitars
#ValentinoGalbusera, #MaurizioPancotti - keyboards
#RinaldoLinati - bass
#GiampieroNava - drums

#VittorioDeScalzi (New Trolls) - production
