📜25 February 1707. Carlo Osvaldo Goldoni was born in Venice.
#Goldoni was an Italian playwright and librettist from the Republic of Venice and he's widely considered one of the fathers of modern comedy, owing a good part of his fame to works in the Venetian language.
His works include some of #Italy most famous and best-loved plays. Audiences have admired the plays of Goldoni for their ingenious mix of wit and honesty. His plays offered his contemporaries images of themselves, often dramatizing the lives, values, and conflicts of the emerging middle classes.
Goldoni wrote in French and Italian but his plays make rich use of the Venetian language, regional vernacular, and colloquialisms: among his best known plays, Il Servitore di Due Padroni, La Locandiera, I Rusteghi, Le Baruffe Chiozzotte, ll Filosofo di Campagna.

📀 Vulgar Display of Power
#ThrashMetal #GrooveMetal
30 years ago Pantera from Texas, #USA released their 6th studio album (often considered as their 2nd one after they completely changed rock genre in the 1990s).
Vulgar Display Of Power is Pantera's highest selling album and is widely regarded as one of the most influential Heavy Metal records ever!
Every single track is a gem and several have become Thrash/Groove Metal classics known by every Metalhead: like "Mouth for War", "A New Level", "Walk", "Fucking Hostile", "This Love".
#Pantera were:
#PhilAnselmo – vocals
#DimebagDarrell – guitars
#RexBrown – bass
#VinniePaul – drums
Music, Guitar Riffs, Lirycs, Vocals... a punch in the face as in the most apt album cover 👊 Absolute Killer Masterpiece and possibly my all time favorite! 🤟❤️🔥 #25February

📜 Everyone coming to Venice ends up stopping under this statue at some point... it's near #RialtoBridge and represents a Venetian important figure born today, #25February, more than 300 years ago.
And he is...
And he is...

Just found out exactly where I was 30 years ago... Palatrussardi in #Milan☝️🤘
- one of #Nirvana last concerts, they did 2 more dates before canceling the rest of the European tour in support of 👉 In Utero.
1 month later #KurtCobain was no more with us 😢
- the "special guest" indicated in the ticket was 👉 Melvins, one of the most influential bands to Nirvana. They did a hell of a show!
- As written on the ticket I spent 32.000 Lire (#Italy old currency), which more or less is 16 euros 😳
Can you imagine that today???
What we do today with 16 euros?🍻
"Times they were a-changing"...

❤️🔥This is probably the last photo of #KurtCobain in a "normal" and leisure day.
It's taken inside the Colosseum in #Rome on 4 March 1994, few days after 👉 Nirvana last concert in #Italy.
Back to his hotel that night Cobain nearly took his life and was saved by Rome hospital Umberto I after 3 days of coma.
#Nirvana had already stopped their tour due to Cobain medical conditions.
After these days in Rome, Kurt and wife #CourtneyLove flew back to Seattle... and it all came to an end on that #5April of 30 years ago.
