🎼3 August 1963. Happy Birthday 🥳🍾to Mr. James Hetfield, born in Downey, California, U.S.A.
He is a passionate hunter, farmer 👨🌾 and beekeeper🐝 and a great mechanix🔧 who loves to customize cars and motorcycles in his garage 🏎🏍... and of course founder, leader, guitarist and vocalist of one of the most important bands in the history of Heavy⚡️Metal (and personally of my life too😈): #Metallica!!! 🎸🎙🤟

📀 Hysteria
#HardRock #HeavyMetal #HairMetal
35 years ago Def Leppard from Sheffield, #UK released their 4th studio album entitled Hysteria.
After their international breakthrough marked by the previous 1983 Pyromania, #DefLeppard hired songwriter legend Jim Steinman: the band's intention was to release the Michael Jackson's Thriller of Hard Rock!
Things went not good with Steinman who left the project but Def Leppard had to face a bigger issue: drummer Rick Allen lost his arm 😱 in a car accident and the band decided to wait for him back 🥁👏
It took 3 more years (!!!), the album was carefully treated and produced in every detail (#MuttLange), every song became a potential hit single and yes... it was a massive success, one of the best selling albums of all time, and a Hard Rock milestone!
Def Leppard:
#JoeElliott – vocals
#SteveClark – guitars
#PhilCollen – guitars
#RickSavage – bass
#RickAllen – drums

Stevie Wonder
📀 Innervisions
#Funk #Rock #Jazz #Soul #ProgressiveSoul
50 years ago Stevie Wonder from Michigan, #USA, released his 16th studio album.
Innervisions is regarded as one of the best and most influential albums of all time!
Besides immortal songs like "Higher Ground" or "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing", it contains the absolute masterpiece "Living For The City", which tells a story during 👉 The Great Migration, something that all "gangsta" (t)rappers of today should hear before delivering ridiculous speeches (musically of course they will never get there).
In this album:
#StevieWonder – vocals, piano, harmonica, drums, tambourine, Moog bass, T.O.N.T.O. synthesizer, clavinet
#MalcolmCecil – upright bass
#DeanParks, #RalphHammer, #DavidTWalker – guitar
#ClarenceBell – Hammond organ
#LarryLatimer – congas
#ScottEdwards, #WillieWeeks – bass
#YusufRoahman,
#SheilaWilkerson – shaker, bongos, Latin gourd
