Yesterday was the 70th Birthday of Steve Walsh, long time singer for progressive rock band #Kansas, he retired in 2014.
Even those who never heard of them I'm pretty sure know this song 😉

🎼In memory of Robby Steinhardt (May 25, 1950 – July 17, 2021), founder, #vocalist and violinist of legendary American rock band Kansas 🤟🎙🎻
His passing away has been communicated last night by his wife 🙏
Most people know #Kansas just for the amazing song "Dust in the Wind", I encourage to discover all their discography, especially the 1970s, you will find so many progressive rock masterpieces such as this one👇

Sail on, sail on
I will rise each day to meet the dawn
So high, so high
I've climbed the mountains of the sky
Without my wings
You know, I'd surely die
I found my freedom flying high
I've climbed the mountains of the sky
#Kansas, September 1975

30 years ago Dream Theater from Boston, #USA released their first EP, even though with its 57-minute length it could be considered a proper album.
Side A contains the 23-minute titletrack, an incredible suite which is not only my favorite #DreamTheater, one if my favorite pieces of music ever ❤️🔥
Side B is a fantastic collection of live cover songs performed at a fan club concert on January 31, 1995, at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London.
Songs covered are of #EltonJohn, #DeepPurple, #LedZeppelin, plus "The Big Medley" containing excerpts of #PinkFloyd, #Kansas, #Queen, #Journey, #DixieDregs, #Genesis.
In this album:
#JamesLaBrie – vocals, production
#JohnMyung – bass, production
#JohnPetrucci – guitar, production
#MikePortnoy – drums, cover concept, production
#DerekSherinian – keyboards, production
