Finnish publication Iltalehti has revealed what strategy the Kremlin is developing to invade Finland, the Baltics and Norway
The Swedish Armed Forces' Chief of Defence, General Mikael Bydén, has stated that the Swedish Defence Forces, based on intelligence, believe that a Russian attack on the Baltic region is possible in the next few years.
The same intelligence undoubtedly underpinned a similar statement by NATO's Commander-in-Chief, Vice Admiral Douglas Perry.
According to sources, the Russian invasion will begin with a simultaneous attack by several different units of the Russian army

#Estonia, #Latvia and #Lithuania, as well as southeastern Finland, will be under threat
🔹In the north, the 14th Army Corps will attack the Norwegian coast from Murmansk by sea, land and air.
At the same time, Russian troops will land in Finnish Lapland, where the Russians will try to quickly capture Ivalo Airport.
Finland will also be attacked by Russian missile forces stationed on the Kola Peninsula.
Tens of thousands of Russian soldiers will take part in the attack.

All five states have announced they will leave the Ottawa Convention of 1997, which prohibits anti-personnel landmines, and in June are expected to give the United Nations formal notice of their withdrawal, allowing them to manufacture, stockpile and deploy such munitions from the end of the year. Together, they guard 2,150 miles of Nato’s frontier with #Russia and its client state of #Belarus.
Military planners are already working out which expanses of European forest and lake land would be planted with these deadly devices, laden with high explosives and shrapnel, if Vladimir Putin were to mass his forces against the alliance.
