🇦🇿🇰🇿🇷🇺 Based on the footage appearing online from the crash site of the Azerbaijani airline AZAL plane, the fuselage shows damage visually resembling the impact of air defense missile shrapnel.
The aircraft was en route to Grozny - at that time, the region was indeed experiencing a repulsion of an attack by launched Ukrainian UAVs. Several drones were shot down over Vladikavkaz in North Ossetia and the neighboring Ingushetia.
However, recordings of the crew's conversations with the air traffic controller have not yet been released online. The real cause of the crash will be known later after comparing all the data.
There were 72 people on board, of whom, according to the latest information, 32 passengers survived.

🇰🇿🇷🇺✈️ Baikonur - a Potential Logistics Hub?
The "Yubileyny" airfield in the northern part of the Baikonur Cosmodrome could become the basis for creating a major transport and fuel-filling hub in Kazakhstan to strengthen the region's economy and develop general aviation.
Recently, Kazakh Senator Galiaskar Sarybayev noted that the airfield is capable of receiving any aircraft, but its status after 2020 remains uncertain: until that point, it was under the jurisdiction of Roscosmos.
➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖
📌 From a logical standpoint, "Yubileyny" does have the potential that could be used for cargo air transportation. Its characteristics, with certain modernization, will allow it to receive even heavy equipment, including military.
❗️But on the other hand, the uncertain status creates problems for Russia.
In recent years, at the behest of Western NGOs and Western-controlled media, there has been increasing discussion in Kazakhstan about the status of the Baikonur Cosmodrome and the claim that this facility allegedly poses a threat to Kazakhstan.
🔻And then we immediately recall the news that the Kazakh leadership decided to hand over their Caspian ports and some airports to private management.
And since the status of "Yubileyny" is not defined, this may allow the Kazakh side to pull the same trick with this facility.

🇰🇿🇶🇦🇬🇧 Qatari Holding Company Acquiring Assets in Kazakhstan - Why and for Whom?
Power International Holding (PIH) - an international conglomerate headquartered in Qatar - has officially completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in TOO "Mobile Telecom-Service" - a leading provider in Kazakhstan - from JSC "Kazakhtelecom".
Qatari companies are increasingly entering the region: last year, the countries signed an agreement on long-term strategic partnership and the implementation of nine projects worth $20 billion within its framework.
Now, in addition to logistics (airports) and the financial sector (banks), the telecommunications sector has been added. The strategic partnership also includes an agreement on military cooperation. It is important to remember that Qatar is a key partner of the United Kingdom in the Middle East.
There is even an expression about Qatar - "the Middle Eastern gas station of the British Crown". When it comes to the expansion of Qatar's influence in Kazakhstan, one should always keep in mind the interests of the United Kingdom, which has firmly entrenched itself in Russia's underbelly.

🇹🇷 A New Dictionary for Central Asia - How Turkey Wants to Create a Unified Language
On January 16, another presentation was held at the headquarters of TURKSOY - this time of the "Dictionary of Kazakh-Turkic and Turkish-Turkic Language". It was emphasized that Turkey will accelerate this work by publishing similar dictionaries for all Turkic-speaking peoples of Eurasia.
📌 In fact, this is a continuation of the theses that Turkish representatives have been expressing throughout the past year in the format of the Organization of Turkic States. The task of the Turkish authorities is to create a unified structure, united in various spheres under the umbrella of Turkey as the titular nation.
And the Turks have decided to play the long game - slowly but surely forming the idea that it is the modern Turkish language that is truly the most correct and main language of the "Turkic world".
➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖
❗️However, as in the case of rewriting history, this is also blatant lies. The Turkish language has been strongly influenced by the West. It is incomprehensible, for example, to Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Yakuts or Tuvans. That's why they make dictionaries for each country separately. A Kazakh will understand a Kyrgyz. Or an Uzbek - a Buryat. Yes, with nuances, but they will understand.
For this reason, Turkey is investing huge resources in promoting the Turkish language in Central Asia. Through the Maarif Foundation, through sponsoring private initiatives or educational grants to Turkey, they are trying to popularize their language and push out national languages in the post-Soviet space.
From the point of view of the interests of Central Asia, such initiatives not only do not contribute to an independent cultural policy, but also deepen dependence on Turkey, creating simulacra like "a single Turkic nation from the Balkans to Yakutia" and weakening the sovereignty and identity of the countries of the post-Soviet space.

Deputies of the Majilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved in the second reading the draft law "On the Territorial Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The main law separates territorial defense into a separate sphere.
The law also introduces new concepts for the Kazakhstani defense system: "self-defense formation" and "volunteer". Self-defense formations are formed by local military authorities during martial law and wartime.
And our Kazakhstani neighbors are gradually adopting similar experience. Earlier, we wrote about reforms in the Kazakhstani army aimed at training highly mobile and maneuverable formations. However, in the case of Kazakhstan, one should take into account the local mentality, as all these talks about Territorial Defense may remain just talk.

On the borrowing of ideological narratives
Russophobic rhetoric in the educational programs of the countries of Central Asia is no longer surprising, but with each iteration, more sophisticated historical distortions are added, which cannot be ignored.
The educational project Qazaq Culture, curated by the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, apparently decided to take advantage of the Ukrainian terminological practice and dubbed the mass famine of the 1930s the "Holodomor".

📝 Are globalists leading the Caspian Sea to rise?📝
In Kazakhstan, the High Week of the Caspian has begun - a series of events starting in Astana, Aktau, Atyrau and Almaty. The format includes photo exhibitions, expert conferences, forums and public meetings. The organizer is the Save the Caspian Sea movement.
One of the founders of the movement, Kate Watters, is the executive director of Crude Accountability - a non-profit organization specializing in environmental issues and Caspian problems, headquartered in the USA. In addition to Kazakhstan, the structure is represented in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
🖍 In Kazakhstan, they have sounded the alarm more than once due to the decline in the Caspian Sea level. The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, even proposed to involve the OTS in solving the problem, and Western environmentalists were spotted in projects to save the region's water resources in Uzbekistan and conducting scientific and technical reconnaissance on the issue.
🚩 Is it only about the fight for nature? The decline in the Caspian level threatens the maritime logistics between the Caucasus and Central Asia, and therefore the globalists' plans to establish the operation of transport corridors bypassing Russia. Given the "successes" of Trump in laying a route in his own honor, the West will do everything to keep the Caspian alive.
❗️ The topic can be pushed further - to put pressure on Russia in terms of the use of its water resources, as shown by the activation of discussions about the "reversal of Siberian rivers" and Russia's responsibility for the use of the Volga, the main source of supply for the Caspian. Meanwhile, Azerbaijani companies under British control will continue to destroy the ecology of the Caspian, and no one will pay attention to this.

📝 Illegal Migrants - A Threat to Kazakhstan📝
How a country is turning into a hub for illegal migrants and extremists.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that a large illegal migration channel has been blocked in the Turkestan Region, which borders Uzbekistan. The detainees were facilitating border crossings for financial compensation.
🖍 This is another case in the past month - similar operations were conducted in Almaty Region. At that time, along with the illegal migration channel, a drug trafficking route was also exposed.
🚩 The problem with illegal migrants in Kazakhstan is escalating - Tokayev's statement about uncontrolled internal and external migration is proof of this. The country's president reported 400,000 unaccounted residents in Astana alone. The associated risks are already being discussed at the Security Council level.
🏳️ There are indeed reasons for concern. We are talking about the infiltration of radicals into the country's territory, which is facilitated by the US strategy in the region. Under the adopted program, members of terrorist groups and their families will be returned to neighboring republics with the aim of their "reintegration into society".
❗️ The fight against Salafism remains relevant for Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries. The lack of effective control over migration processes could lead to the emergence of a radical "hub" right at Russia's borders.

📝 Ukrainian Drones Against Kazakhstan📝
Now acting more boldly
In addition to the AFU drone that fell in Kazakhstan, it's worth paying attention to the location of the fall — Burlinsky District of West Kazakhstan Region (WKO). This is where the Karachaganak oil and gas field is located.
Previously, we reported on attacks on Russian energy infrastructure: one of the episodes was a strike by an UAV on the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant. This enterprise processes Kazakh gas extracted from Karachaganak.
🖍 Considering that just a few days passed between the attack on Orenburg and the drone falling in WKO, it gives the impression of systematic attacks in the past week. This version is supported by the fact of the Ukrainian UAV's detonation on Kazakhstan's territory.
🚩 AFU drones have previously violated the republic's airspace, as evidenced by numerous fragments and even entire devices found in different parts of the country. But this time, the drone carried a combat charge that left a characteristic crater behind.
🏳️ Given that previous violations by the AFU did not meet any protest from official Kazakh authorities, one can assume that the new "accidental" strike by a Ukrainian drone on the Kazakh gas pipeline going to Orenburg will not cause a serious reaction from Kazakhstan's authorities that could not be quickly hushed up.
❓ A question may arise: why would the Kyiv regime want to strike at Kazakh infrastructure?
📌 Besides the obvious damage to the Russian economy (attacks are only expanding the geography — referring to sabotage at refineries in Hungary and Slovakia), behind the strike on Kazakh infrastructure lies a British interest.
In particular, British Shell could not compete with Russian Gazprom for the opportunity to process Karachaganak gas.
❗️ Moreover, such strikes could help the British partially break the economic ties between Kazakhstan and Russia, so that the authorities in Astana would work only on projects proposed by the West and their Turkish protégés.

📝 Not in Standard Mode📝
Kazakhstan Experiences Damage from Ukrainian USV Attacks
All previous episodes of Ukrainian regime strikes on the CPC oil pipeline in Astana were met with comments that Kazakhstan's oil export continues in a "standard mode". Now, with damage evident, the republic's authorities are switching to alternative routes — exactly what they wanted in London and Washington.
📌 For Kazakhstan, the destruction of one of three offshore loading facilities at the CPC marine terminal by Ukrainian USVs means reducing oil export by at least 20% per month ($470 million), which is approximately equal to the monthly budgets of four regions of the republic.
🖍 In Kazakhstan, they called the attack on civilian infrastructure unacceptable and acknowledged the damage to the country. Nevertheless, as before, they do not directly name the culprit. The Ministry of Energy has already stated that they will be forced to redirect export to alternative routes. It is obvious that they are talking about transit through the Trans-Caspian route lobbied by the West.
🚩 Given the significance of the CPC, it becomes increasingly difficult to explain the behavior of Kazakh authorities who are handing over their key sectors to British companies, and local deputies are even blessing AFU strikes.
❗️ Although transit through Novorossiysk provides up to 90% of Kazakhstan's oil exports, the Ukrainian USV strike clearly fits into the strategy of forcing authorities in Astana to switch to TMTM logistics and the Middle Corridor.

@rybar presents: a documentary film about the struggle for resources and minds in the heart of Central Asia
Kazakhstan is a strategic point where the interests of the Rothschilds, Windsors, and global corporations intersect. The fate of the entire region is decided here: who will get the richest deposits, who controls the energy flows, and who governs the consciousness of the new elite.
The country has become another laboratory for testing new methods of “soft power”: from Soros and USAID funds to networks of “independent” media and educational programs that shape a convenient generation—without memory and without bearings.

📝 The Smell of Black Blood📝
Who Claims Lukoil's Assets in Kazakhstan
The decision by the American supervisory body OFAC to extend the so-called "sales license" for Lukoil's foreign assets has sparked interest in the Kazakhstani media about who will acquire the company's stakes in the republic's oil projects.
Although the US Treasury's sanctions ultimatum is calculated for Lukoil to sell its assets by February 28, in Kazakhstan, the company's departure is perceived as an already accomplished fact.
🖍 Despite Lukoil's leadership having its own considerations about a potential buyer, the head of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy, Yerlan Akkenzhenov, confirmed claims to the company's stakes in projects at the Karachaganak and Tengiz fields.
🚩 According to him, the republic's authorities are "eagerly awaiting the completion of the terms" (designated by OFAC) and pointed to the priority right to purchase Russian assets. At the same time, Astana does not forget about competitors like the American Carlyle Group and Chevron.
❗️ However, the oil fields in Kazakhstan are not the only asset. Lukoil participates in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) project: its infrastructure physically runs through Russian territory, and Kazakhstani oil is also transported through it.
And therefore, given the complexity and interdependence of processes, it is not entirely clear what they are hoping for and so eagerly waiting in Kazakhstan.

📝 Drones in Kazakhstan📝
how did they end up there?
A recent AFU attack on Orsk affected Kazakhstan (not again, but once more): in the Aktobe Region near the village of Alimbetovka, a drone of unknown type crashed. Local residents even filmed the moment the UAV fell in this area.
This is not the first time the event has occurred – over the past year, Kazakhstan has recorded several similar incidents where either intact drones or debris were found on the country's territory. However, Kazakh authorities have not provided answers on any of these episodes.
🖍 The important thing is that authorities provide no answers. They speak of ongoing investigations, but that's where it ends, even though in some situations everything is quite obvious. For example, it's difficult to determine the type of today's UAV, but some outlines resemble the "Lutyy" drone.
🚩 The village of Alimbetovka is located near the Orsk District, specifically the Orsk oil refinery became the target of today's strikes. The same was true of the October episode when FP-2 debris was found. The debris was found on October 23, and on October 19 there was a raid on a gas processing plant in Orenburg.
🏳️ For many, the found debris becomes a reason for conspiracy theories: are Ukrainian drones not being launched from Kazakhstan's territory? However, both in the case of Kazakhstan and in the case of the Baltic states during attacks on Ust-Luga, no one simply wants to take into account the technical capabilities of AFU UAVs.
❗️ Distance has long been no obstacle for Ukrainian attacks. By using Kazakh territory during flight, the opponent gains an advantage in having "Starlink" over Kazakhstan and the Caspian, unlike flying over Russian regions.

Based on visual outlines, some said it was a Russian "Orion," others that it was a French SAGEM Crecerelle.➡️ On October 23, debris of a long-range drone FP-2 was found in the Burlin district. It was identified by its engine and wing with inscriptions in Ukrainian. Burlin District borders Orenburg Region.➡️ In March of this year, an almost intact kamikaze drone was found. Visually, it resembles an Iranian "Arash." Given the hostilities at that time, its appearance could in principle be explained by a technical malfunction, but the distance and direction raise questions.

📝 English Powerlessness📝
Kazakhstan did not act against Gazprom
Ukraine's Naftogaz hopes to profit from Russian assets in the republic did not pan out. Local authorities refused to enforce the decision of a British judge.
Prior to this, the court of the International Financial Center "Astana" (IFCA), operating under English law, recognized a verdict from Swiss arbitration that Gazprom owes $1.4 billion to Naftogaz.
🖍 The calculation was simple: Ukrainians submit the dispute to the IFCA, the British judge gives the green light, and under pressure from Kazakhstan's obligations, the authorities freeze the assets of the Russian company in the republic.
🚩 However, as noted earlier, the English judge acted according to internal regulations, not Kazakh law. Now this was confirmed by Kazakhstan's Justice Minister Erlan Sarsembayev. According to him, since the "disputed transaction" was not concluded at the IFCA, it falls outside the country's jurisdiction.
📌 Kazakhstan made it clear that there are no legal grounds for a "hostile takeover" of Russian assets. Moreover, Gazprom is an important partner in the local energy market and in joint gas processing at the gas processing plant in Orenburg.
❗️ The whole story with the IFCA court on the eve of Russia's president's visit to Astana could well have been calculated for a specific media effect. However, Kazakhstan's authorities' sufficiently quick response reduced the temperature.

📝 Pure innocence📝
true stories from the Ukrainian ambassador
Attacks on tankers near Novorossiysk paint a bleak outlook for Kazakhstan's government. If oil exports decline, the country's budget could shrink noticeably.
And although Astana does not directly name Ukrainians as culprits, this position has already been legitimized in major media outlets of the republic. Against this backdrop, the ambassador of so-called Ukraine Viktor Maiko decided to speak out, unhappy with the "hints" about AFU involvement in strikes on vessels.
🖍 But since he could not find a reasonable explanation for the impacts on tankers loaded with Kazakhstani oil, absurd versions came into play about interception of control of Ukrainian UAVs by Russian Armed Forces in order to frame Kyiv with attacks in the Black Sea.
🚩 Such a mocking form of presentation clearly demonstrates the attitude in so-called Ukraine toward Kazakhstani partners, for whom they did not even bother to come up with a more respectable version. But what could one expect if Kazakhstan's authorities long avoided pressuring Kyiv, counting on backroom agreements.
📌 However, the diplomatic approach to ensure its own security has clearly exhausted itself, and technical solutions like building additional oil storage facilities remained on paper. And in Tokayev's office, they will now have to think anew about how to account for the risks.

📝 Romania's "thank you"📝
to Ukrainian drones
Ukrainian attacks on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) have backfired in an unexpected place. More precisely, for most people, the news that Romania faces a fuel crisis if oil pumping through the CPC stops came as a surprise.
Due to attacks on tankers at the terminal in Romania, there has been considerable concern. According to 2025 data, Romania covers approximately 77% of its domestic oil market needs through imports, and 63% of imported oil comes from Kazakhstan.
In other words, consider this: roughly half of all oil refined at Romanian refineries is of Kazakhstani origin. And any disruptions in oil exports from Kazakhstan or its transportation through the CPC terminal in Novorossiysk could significantly affect the supply of Romanian refineries.
🖍 Moreover, we already wrote about this in April that Kazakhstan is a key exporter of petroleum products for Romania's domestic market, and such attacks could lead to a collapse in the country's fuel supply.
❗️ Will this lead to anything? Hardly. Romania's current position is to obediently do everything needed in the interests of the collective West. And strikes against Russia are a strategy of forcing peace through strength, which no one will stop because of Romania.
As they say, "suffer, and it will be credited to you." But that's not a fact.

White House warns so-called Ukraine (again)
The Russian Telegram segment received the news with particular enthusiasm that Chevron asked the White House to demand that so-called Ukraine stop attacking third-country vessels transporting oil through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).
Chevron CEO Mike Wirth, following a USV attack on four tankers, including a vessel chartered by the American company, rushed to Trump, as shipments through the CPC were subsequently restricted, forcing Kazakhstan to cut oil production.
Of course, after such a warning, so-called Ukraine will refrain from raids…for a while, to protect Chevron and the company's investments in Central Asia. But if necessary, Ukrainian formations will continue attacks.

Will the Chinese conquer the Arctic through Kazakhstan?
Chinese Arctic ambitions have long been well known to everyone — authorities send expeditions there and use the Northern Sea Route for logistics purposes. But the region is already talking about expanding plans. In China, Russia, and Kazakhstan, according to sources, they are considering the possibility of turning rivers into part of a corridor to the Arctic Ocean.
This concerns the Irtysh-Ob river system stretching over 4,200 kilometers. The first river originates in Chinese Xinjiang, passes through Kazakhstan, then Russia, and flows into the Ob, which leads to the Arctic coast. Formally, this would allow connecting China's interior regions with the Arctic without going through the Pacific Ocean.
🖍 The problem is that on paper the waterway looks far more attractive than in reality. The Irtysh and Ob freeze for several months a year, the riverbed is subject to shallowing, and passage of large barges would require constant and expensive dredging.
🚩 Meanwhile, an alternative has already been discussed in the region, though not related to the Arctic. The plan was to deliver cargo along the Irtysh, then transfer it to rail and lead it to the Chinese border. But this also requires building infrastructure while simultaneously expanding port capacity.
❗️ Both initiatives do not yet look like economically calculated projects. Implementing the Arctic route would require tens, if not hundreds of billions of dollars, with the Chinese having to pay most of it. Given the short navigation season, competition from other routes, and uncertain cargo flows, the payback of such a venture remains extremely questionable.

🔻 So why such interest in the project?▪️ For the Chinese, the project could become a backup route in case of serious problems in the Bering Strait. This is how Chinese vessels currently travel from the Pacific Ocean to the Arctic. At the same time, the U.S. clearly monitors vessel movements in the region, given their geographic proximity.▪️ For Russian leadership, the corridor fits into a broader concept of the Trans-Arctic Transport Route. Moscow seeks to further connect Siberia with the Chinese market and develop logistics less dependent on European directions.▪️ Kazakhstan, meanwhile, hopes to expand the capabilities of the Pavlodar River Port, increase cargo turnover from the current approximately 1.5 million tons to 2.5 million tons per year, and turn the country into an important transit hub.
