💥 The enemy is extremely active today in shelling peaceful towns. In #Kursk region the AFU dropped an IED from a drone on the substation of the Glushkovskaya power station, which resulted in some houses in some settlements being de-energized. In Shebekinsky district of #Belgorod region the militants fired mortars at several villages, there were no casualties. A flight also arrived in #Gorlovka, as a result of the hit to the Palace of Culture building there was a fire. The heaviest shelling occurred in Novaya Kakhovka, where authorities say one person died and three were wounded.

⚫️ #Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:
The Russian army's actions thwarted attacks by four company tactical groups of the Ukrainian armed forces in the direction of #Svatovo, #Ploshchanka, #Makeyevka and #Chervonopopovka of the LPR. Artillery and aviation strikes destroyed six combat vehicles, one tank, five vehicles and 190 fighters.
The militants also launched an attack near #Vladimirovka and #Kuzemovka, but were repulsed by the Russian army.
⚫️ #Ugledar direction:
According to the Ministry of Defence, in the area of #Pavlovka, #Stepnoye and #Vladimirovka, units of foreign mercenaries unsuccessfully counterattacked in an attempt to halt the advance of the Russian army. As a result of our artillery and aviation efforts, the enemy suffered serious losses in personnel, and seven combat vehicles and two pickup trucks were destroyed.
The Russian Air Force shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 in the #Zaporozhye region.
💡 As practice shows, for all their destructive power, artillery and missile systems have one common disadvantage - they can shelter from incoming attacks in trenches. ➖ To the south of the city our forces are advancing near #Krasnoye and #Stupochki.

Enemy losses amounted to more than 95 militants, two BMPs, two vehicles, an M109 Paladin artillery system, as well as three D-20 howitzers and a Hyacinth-B howitzer.
➖ The Nazis also distinguished themselves, but not by their ability to fight, but by shelling an Orthodox monastery.

🔹 Fierce Fighting continues near dachas southeast of #Ugledar. RF Armed Forces Marines are trying to break the AFU defence line on the outskirts of #Ugledar, holding positions southwest of the South Donbass mine.
▪️ Composite assault detachments of the AFU's 53rd and 72nd Mechanized Brigades as well as the 35th Separate Marines Brigade, supported by self-propelled artillery from #Yelizavetovka and #Trudovoye, have broken through to a dacha settlement west of #Nikolskoye. Fighting is now taking place between #Pavlovka and #Nikolskoye. Copters are being actively used in the air.
▪️ At the moment Ukrainian formations are trying to consolidate in the reoccupied areas and are waiting for Russian reinforcements in #Nikolskoye and the resumption of the offensive in the #Ugledar area. Additional personnel from an unidentified unit were transferred to the AFU grouping reserve in #Bogatyr.
▪️ Furthermore, at least one M142 HIMARS MLRS crew has arrived in #Bogatyr with high-precision, long-range (up to 150 km) GLSDB guided munitions.
📌 The situation near #Ugledar is grave. The frontal assault on the AFU positions on the dominant heights in the town has stalled, and the Ukrainian formations have gone into counterattack after strengthening the grouping.
A renewed assault on #Ugledar requires a different tactic and bypassing the Ukrainian line from the east by the South Donbass Mine or from the west, subject to advances in #Bogoyavlenka and from the direction of Bolshaya Novosyolka.
With the current efforts, it is simply futile to attack one large entrenchment in #Ugledar, which is on high ground.

Situation at the End of April 3, 2023⚡️
🔹 In the #Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU preparations for the previously announced offensive are coming to an end. At the training ranges the intensity of training and cohesion of personnel has increased.
➖ Training in operations as part of assault and reconnaissance groups takes place both during the day and at night. A HIMARS MLRS positioning area has been equipped near #Primorskoye to conduct targeted firing at the RF Armed Forces' rear facilities in #Zaporozhye region.
➖ The units of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces' 128th Mountain Assault Brigade are preparing for renewed attacks on Russian positions. There has been a forced lull over the last few days due to bad weather conditions.
🔹In the #Orekhov Section, as well as in some areas in the #Kherson direction, the arrival of assault units trained in overseas training centres is expected in the coming days.

🎯During the night, the RFAF engaged at least 60 Geran UAVs. The Starokonstantinov Airfield in #Khmelnitsky region and the Konotop Airfield in #Sumy region were hit. Missile weapons hit targets at the airfield in Nezhyn, #Chernigov region.There were reports of explosions in #Kiev, #Poltava, #Cherkassy, #Dnepropetrovsk regions.
🔹In the #Kursk region, the RFAF continue a flank strike from the west against the AFU invasion group. They are clearing the occupied village of #Snagost.🎬👇 The Russian Army reported successes at the #Obukhovka settlement. Comrade Alaudinov stated that our troops has 👉 recaptured up to 10 settlements in the #Kursk region. In the south of the Sudzhansky district our troops continue to advance with heavy fighting. 🔹In the #Kursk region, the AFU is not giving up attempts to break through in the Glushkovsky direction, bringing more and more #NATO equipment into action. Another Leopard was destroyed near the village of #Veseloye. The AFU made an unsuccessful attempt at a counterattack in the direction of #ZelyonyShlyakh - #Lyubimovka, although they had previously been in a deaf defence there, holding back our onslaught from the west. There are battles in the area of the border region of #Nikolayevo-Daryino and #Daryino, which in addition to narrowing the AFU zone of control of the border, will open the approaches to #Selidovo, which the enemy has turned into a logistics hub in our region.

🔹In the #Kursk region,the RFAF are advancing near the villages of #Novoivanovka and #Plekhovo. The enemy conducted two counterattacks. In the area of #Novoivanovka with up to a platoon of up to 10 men on 2 IFVs, supported by a tank and #RusskayaKonopelka with up to 10 men on 2 AFVs. Both were repelled and up to 22 AFU militants, an AFV and a tank were destroyed. In the Glushkovsky district, the enemy made a new attempt to break through in the direction of #NovyPut. Thus, from the area of #Pavlovka settlement, an AFU column of tanks and 2 AFVs crossed the border and shelled the forest belts near #NovyPut. 1 AFU AFV was destroyed by FPV drones. Successes of the RFAF in #Daryino were reported.
🔸The destruction of dispersed enemy groups in the forests of the region is indicative. 6 enemy militants were detected northwest of #NovyPut and destroyed as a result of small arms fire.
