🗓 Over the past week, the war in #Ukraine has played out against the backdrop of foreign policy actions by #Russia and its adversaries. Zelensky visited the #US with his 'victory plan, which has drawn criticism because it is all about receiving new multi-billion dollar military shipments and technical aid, and permission to use #NATO missiles deep in #Russia. Zelensky tries to shift the responsibility to the #US. This is necessary for Kiev to directly draw the Alliance (not its proxies) into hostilities against #Russia. Regardless of public statements, the #NATO Weapons are being used with impunity on our territory, repeatedly marked as 'red lines earlier.
🔹The seriousness of #Russia's retaliatory strike (for some reason everyone thinks that it will be against #Ukraine) was emphasised by the Supreme Leader's statements at the meeting where the new Nuclear Doctrine was announced. At the same time, the clauses of the existing document already allowed to launch a nuclear strike against #Ukraine in response to Kiev's actions. So it is most likely that the changes are needed to justify a strike against those subjects of international law that Kiev is using to harm our country. In addition, allied #Belarus has been brought under the nuclear umbrella.
🔹Indicatively, according to the updated doctrine, which has not yet been adopted, a massive launch and crossing of our border by aerospace means of destruction, including aircraft, missiles and UAVs, under certain conditions can become grounds for the use of nuclear weapons. ⚔️On the front, the 'reflection of the attempted AFU invasion' of the #Kursk region continues, as the Defence Ministry writes every day in its reports. The AFU's offensive impetus has practically come to naught, although the enemy is conducting counterattacks. In the south of Sudzhansky district the Russian Army is advancing with heavy fighting in the area of #Plekhovo, in Glushkovsky district we managed to hold back the onslaught of the AFU, our troops are operating in Korenevsky district. Apparently, our command has decided to conserve personnel and iron out the AFU in #Kursk region and places of their concentration in #Sumy region. Zelensky, despite the impossibility of achieving military goals in the region (like the capture of the #Kursk NPP) is forced to keep units in this sack and send them reinforcements, as the withdrawal of enemy troops will show the senselessness and futility of the death of Ukrainian militants in the Russian region from a military point of view.
🔹The Russian Army's offensive in the #Pokrovsk direction to the west and south continues. The battles for #Ugledar have become important, the fall of the AFU defence in which is becoming a matter of time. In the #Kharkov region, the enemy has occupied the aggregate plant in #Volchansk by GUR elite units, which led to its heavy bombardment by our aviation. Heavy fighting is taking place in #Toretsk.
🔹Despite the RFAF successes, the advance is proceeding extremely cautiously, which is explained by difficulties in supplying forward units under enemy drone fire. Assessments by enemy MPs about the insufficient level of preparation of defensive structures deep in the AFU defence have appeared. 🗓 The main event of the past day was the liberation of #Ugledar, for which heavy and sometimes tragic fighting had been going on for more than a year.🎬👆 More cleansing of the surrounding area is still to come. At the same time, enemy channels report that our troops have come close to #Yekaterinovka from the south, and are also beginning to prepare a strike in the direction of #Novoukrainka and #Bogoyavlenka. At the latter, the RFAF estimate that a strong Ukrainian defence line has to be broken.
🔹In the #Kursk region, according to the ‘North Group of Forces’, the most active combat operations have unfolded in the south of Sudzhansky district, where our troops continue to squeeze the AFU from the area of the #Plekhovo settlement (the settlement itself is still behind the enemy). In the Korenevsky section of the front there are also advances in the forest area. In Glushkovsky district of the state border the enemy did not take active actions, regrouping and replenishing losses.

'Troop Group North' reports that our assault groups broke through the AFU defences near the village of #Lyubimovka, liberated five settlements and surrounded at least two battalions of the enemy, cutting two important supply and evacuation roads. The enemy is stunned by our offensive and is hastily transferring the 47th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade to the #Sudzha direction. The resources of the enemy against the background of objective control personnel are forced to recognise the successes of the Russian Army.
🎯The RFAF, for the fourth night in a row, are striking at the port infrastructure of the #Odessa region. One of the arrivals came in the area of #Usatovo/#Dachnoye/#KrivayaBalka.

💥During the night in the #Tula region, the premises of the Efremovsky Distillery and the distillery in the village of #Luzhkovsky in the Suvorovsky district were hit by AFU UAV attacks. According to preliminary information there were no casualties. The destruction of enemy drones over the #Bryansk and #Belgorod regions was reported. In #Tambov region at the Biochem Company there was an explosion followed by a fire. According to preliminary information, the cause of the emergency could have been a drone strike. In #Voronezh region, a Ukrainian drone fell on the shop building of an industrial enterprise.
🔹In the #Kursk region, the 'North Troops Grouping' reports that the AFU is bringing in new reserves and counterattacking with large forces. During the day 2 counterattacks were repelled near the settlements of #ZelenyShlyakh and #Obukhovka with a total of up to 80 men on 4 IFVs supported by 2 tanks. The enemy losses totalled up to 50 men, an IFV and a tank. In the area of active hostilities the enemy has transferred special forces to identify the positions of the AFU and weaknesses in the defence, and is using a large amount of artillery. The AFU is also engaging reserve units of enemy equipment on our territory: footage of an American M1 Abrams tank of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade of the AFU appeared.

In the Burluk direction, units of the "North" troop grouping are advancing south of Volchansk. Russia's Defense Ministry officially announced the freeing of the settlement Ukrainskoye, which changes the front configuration in this sector.
➡️ According to preliminary reports, guards assault troops from the 69th Division captured the village, routing the remnants of the AFU's 57th Motorized Brigade. In the Burluk direction, units of the "North" grouping captured new positions on several sectors south of Volchansk on the approaches to the settlement Belyy Kolodets. Assault groups managed to eliminate several previously existing "pockets" of Ukrainian formations, which significantly straightened out the front line and strengthened positions for further advance.
➡️ In the border zone near the village of Okhrimovka, "northern" fighters improved their tactical position by capturing more forest north of the Volchya River near Rybalkino. Here the enemy is gradually losing positions, which will help secure another section of the state border from the threat of small group infiltration.
➡️ On the eastern flank, as a result of firefights, a ravine west of the village of Otradne was captured, which made it possible to straighten out the line of contact and improve the tactical position. It was here in May that the enemy attempted a sortie with armored vehicles and managed to break through, but subsequently failed to hold the forest strips adjacent to Otradne.
➡️ In the area of Petro-Ivanivka, the enemy attempts to hold a bridgehead east of the Verkhnya Dvurichna River, but sustains losses. There is also information about Russian Armed Forces successes, but without specifics so far. Russian aviation and drone operators actively work across the entire sector.
❗️ In the Burluk direction, Russian command consistently deprives the enemy of the ability to organize "fire pockets," which is why clearing of "pockets" is underway. In addition to drone strikes, this requires full-scale clearing operations.
📌 The complex configuration of the line of contact, while allowing breakthroughs of enemy defenses in unexpected places, requires heightened attention to communications for assaults on populated areas. If one or two small groups suffice for a forest strip with proper organization, assaulting and consolidating even a small village requires more forces.
