⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Frontline Report for the Morning of 22 Dec 2022; pub. 9:08⚡️
♦️Russian troops supported by artillery launched a ground attack in the direction of #Prechistovka in the #Ugledar sector. To the west of this locality, the RF Armed Forces shelled Bolshaya (Velikaya) Novosyolka. Arrivals were also made at #Ugledar itself. (Fig. 1)
♦️It is hot on the #Donetsk front. Units of Russian troops attacked again on the ground near #Novomikhailovka. The assault on Maryinka continues. Fighting for every house. The Ukrainian garrison holds positions in the western part of the city. The RF Armed Forces are also storming #Nevelskoye. And from the direction of #Peski they attack in the direction of #Pervomayskoye. Fighting for a section of the M-04 highway. Slightly to the north Russian troops tried to break through to #Vodyanoye. Artillery was also working on this settlement. In turn, the Ukrainian army launched another rocket attack on #Donetsk. (Fig. 2)
♦️There are counterattacks on the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut. The AFU are trying to seize the initiative and push the Wagner PMCs out of the city limits. Russian artillery is working tightly on #Soledar. Southeast of the city, the Wagner PMC has again conducted assault operations near #Bakhmutskoye. To the east, it is trying to break through from #Yakovlevka. Further north, Russian forces attacked in the direction of #Veseloye. (Fig. 3)
♦️On the northern section, the RF Armed Forces again attempted to advance towards #Verkhnekamenskoye. Russian artillery hit AFU positions in #Spornoye. (Fig. 4)
♦️In the #Lugansk direction, the RF Armed Forces attacked near #Belogorovka. They also attempted to advance near #Dibrovo. The AFU, in turn, attacked in the direction of #Kremennaya. And the Russians attacked in the direction of #Stelmakhovka from the direction of #Podkuychansk. (Fig. 5)

🔴 In the #Kupyansk Direction, fighting continues , our artillery strikes deep into the AFU defence on the places of concentration of the enemy personnel, which moves reserves.
⚠️ To the north of #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut), the storming of #Yagodnoye, which began yesterday, ended with it being taken over by the Wagner PMCs;
➖ heights near #Berkhovka have been taken.
➖ The Stupki railway station nearby (already in the northern part of #Artyomovsk) has also been occupied by the Russian attackers as a result of the fighting.
▪️ In the #Maryinka area, fighting is going on, the enemy is throwing reserves to the western part of the locality.
🔵 The AFU transferred up to a brigade of personnel and equipment to #Pavlograd in #Dnepropetrovsk region as a reserve.
▪️ The #Kherson region reports movements of English-speaking mercenaries on the right bank of the #Dnieper River and reconnaissance of the area by the headquarters of the enemy group.
▪️ In #Kursk region, the enemy shelled the settlements of #Gornal, #Guevo and #Krasnooktyabrsky.

📌 Russian Forces resumed a positional offensive on the defensive lines of the AFU's 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade in the vicinity of #Pervomayskoye.
▪️ After establishing control over the heights north of #Vodyanoye, units of the Somali Separate Assault Battalion consolidated in the occupied territories and advanced from #Opytnoye towards #Avdeyevka, improving the tactical situation.
▪️ South of #Vodyanoye, as a result of an assault by the RF Armed Forces, they encircled one of the strongholds of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade and advanced in the fields between #Pervomayskoye and #Vodyanoye.

🎬 Our Guys occupied one of the most important positions in front of #Nevelskoye, the battle lasted more than 10 hours.
Coordinated work of heroic tank crews, who shot at point-blank range at enemy positions and the "storm" squad of the 110th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, working under cover of tanks, took control of the stronghold of the AFU's 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade near the village of #Nevelskoye.
Despite constant bursts of enemy artillery shells, our guys occupied the AFU defensive positions.
AFU suffered losses of up to 40 men killed and wounded, the footage shows the enemy's flaming equipment😇 .
The capture of this stronghold will make it possible to rapidly develop offensive actions in the direction of #Maryinka.
Victory will be ours!!!

🔹In #Kherson Direction, the Lancets have become more actively used in the area. According to a number of reports, our military managed to hit several AFU air defence installations. Our army is trying to provide better conditions for the work of aviation.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, several groups of the AFU attacked locally at the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line, but after small arms fights they withdrew with losses. Apart from these sorties, it is relatively quiet on the ground. The weather is not conducive to activity. Both sides compensate the lull with artillery strikes. Our army is also firing FABs at the rear of the AFU.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are concentrating on defeating the AFU reserves. West of #Staromayorskoye the rotation was disrupted by strikes. In #Storozhevoye, an accumulation of AFU equipment and manpower was uncovered and hit. Fire suppression of AFU positions near #Novomayorskoye and #Novodonetskoye continues. In the #Mayinka sector, in the offensive on #Novomikhaylovkabrought no significant progress so far. Our forces are attacking from the south and north, the main AFU forces have withdrawn to the centre of the village, the industrial district is in the grey zone. Ours are advancing in the area of the dam between #Maryinka and #Georgiyevka.
🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the southern #Avdeyevka flank, our army advanced from #Peski towards #Pervomayskoye, and took control of the AFU positions. Our forces are trying to gain a foothold in the eastern part of the village. Our new attempt to advance near #Nevelskoye has failed so far. On the northern flank, ours continue to storm the AFU positions in the area of a dacha settlement to the east of the Coke Plant and in the area of #Stepovoye, with no changes in the frontline today.
🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, the AFU withdrew to the southern outskirts of #Bogdanovka, our military entrenched on the northern outskirts, most of the village is grey zone. Ours continue active strikes with artillery. A number of AFU strongholds closer to Chasov Yar were hit by our aviation. The AFU has so far managed to repel our attacks in the area of #Khromovo.
🔹In #Svatovo Direction, our Aerospace Forces are carrying out heavy strikes on AFU facilities in #Kharkov and its region. According to preliminary data, the strikes hit bunkers and deployment sites of AFU reserves and equipment. Explosions also occurred in the area of 4 Kharkov factories working for the needs of the AFU, producing EW- and missile control systems, engines, etc. From the field it is reported that such intensity of strikes has not been recorded since the beginning of the SMO. On the ground our forces have advanced north of #Novoselovskoye.
💥In addition, across #Ukraine, another large scale attack took place. A series of explosions occurred at facilities in #Dnepropetrovsk, #KrivoyRog, #Zaporozhye, and #Chernigov region. Strikes were recorded on the railway junction in #Shepetivka. It is reported that a military plant in #Khmelnitsky region was hit. In #Odessa region, the targets were a radio intelligence center and a fuel terminal. Amazingly, Kiev admitted that the AFU was not able to shoot down all the targets, but only 26 out of 59.

Apart from these sorties, it is relatively quiet on the ground. The weather is not conducive to activity. Both sides compensate the lull with artillery strikes. Our army is also firing FABs at the rear of the AFU.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are concentrating on defeating the AFU reserves. West of #Staromayorskoye the rotation was disrupted by strikes. In #Storozhevoye, an accumulation of AFU equipment and manpower was uncovered and hit. Fire suppression of AFU positions near #Novomayorskoye and #Novodonetskoye continues. In the #Mayinka sector, in the offensive on #Novomikhaylovkabrought no significant progress so far. Our forces are attacking from the south and north, the main AFU forces have withdrawn to the centre of the village, the industrial district is in the grey zone. Ours are advancing in the area of the dam between #Maryinka and #Georgiyevka.
🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the southern #Avdeyevka flank, our army advanced from #Peski towards #Pervomayskoye, and took control of the AFU positions. Our forces are trying to gain a foothold in the eastern part of the village. Our new attempt to advance near #Nevelskoye has failed so far. On the northern flank, ours continue to storm the AFU positions in the area of a dacha settlement to the east of the Coke Plant and in the area of #Stepovoye, with no changes in the frontline today.
🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, the AFU withdrew to the southern outskirts of #Bogdanovka, our military entrenched on the northern outskirts, most of the village is grey zone. Ours continue active strikes with artillery. A number of AFU strongholds closer to Chasov Yar were hit by our aviation. The AFU has so far managed to repel our attacks in the area of #Khromovo.
🔹In #Svatovo Direction, our Aerospace Forces are carrying out heavy strikes on AFU facilities in #Kharkov and its region. According to preliminary data, the strikes hit bunkers and deployment sites of AFU reserves and equipment. Explosions also occurred in the area of 4 Kharkov factories working for the needs of the AFU, producing EW- and missile control systems, engines, etc. From the field it is reported that such intensity of strikes has not been recorded since the beginning of the SMO. On the ground our forces have advanced north of #Novoselovskoye.
💥In addition, across #Ukraine, another large scale attack took place. A series of explosions occurred at facilities in #Dnepropetrovsk, #KrivoyRog, #Zaporozhye, and #Chernigov region. Strikes were recorded on the railway junction in #Shepetivka. It is reported that a military plant in #Khmelnitsky region was hit. In #Odessa region, the targets were a radio intelligence center and a fuel terminal. Amazingly, Kiev admitted that the AFU was not able to shoot down all the targets, but only 26 out of 59.
