He immediately starts throwing haymakers on the knife-wielding attackers. Thankfully, Kolasinac’s “fight club”-esque beatdown of the assailants helped assure that both of them remained safe. Per a report from Sky Sports, Arsenal has confirmed that both Özil and Kolasinac remained unharmed and are OK.Footage has emerged of Sead Kolasinac fighting off a pair of knife-wielding attackers during an attempted robbery, Mesut Ozil was also involved in the incident.

David is the second highest rated Canadian player in the world right now, only behind Bayern’s own Alphonso Davies, and he’s been lighting it up in Belgium and the UEFA Europa League.Apparently, the striker seems to favor a move to the Bundesliga.Re Jonathan David to #Arsenal rumours. #AFC are interested but the striker seems to favour a move to the #Bundesliga. David’s agent has already confirmed that his client would like to move on to a bigger challenge, with both Premier League and Bundesliga clubs being interested. The question is — which clubs? While Bayern aren’t named in the report, Veth’s follow up tweet re: the “Haaland situation” implies the interest of either Bayern or Leipzig, both of whom were linked with Haaland before he chose Borussia Dortmund.Could Hasan Salihamidzic be interested in bringing even more North Americans to the club? Maybe, given the success of Davies, Brazzo’s pet project. However, Veth’s tweet could also be a reference to RB Leipzig instead, who also stand to lose Timo Werner this summer and may have a roster spot up for grabs. In comparison, with Robert Lewandowski still lighting it up at the moment, the Bavarians have no immediate need for a striker — but a Gnabry-style loan arrangement could be on the cards. In any case, this is all speculation — which is why it’s perfect material for the Schmankerl! I personally don’t see West Ham getting £120 million,” Winterburn told OLBG (as made available to Bavarian Football Works). “He’s still a young player so there’s a resale value there, but £120 million to sell him on in the future doesn’t seem like it’ll have the same value. I think they would get something in the region of £80 or £90 million, I think £120 million is a bit unrealistic considering the situation. But I’ve been wrong before, I said Harry Kane wouldn’t go for £120 million and he hasn’t ended up at Manchester City because Erling Haaland had a £50 million release clause.”Winterburn went on to say that does not believe Arsenal will go as high as West Ham would like with a proposal. “Declan Rice is a terrific player, I like him a lot but for £120 million I don’t see it, especially with a year left on his contract. Maybe a club will match that valuation, I’d be amazed if it was Arsenal in all honesty,” Winterburn said. “But let’s see, it’ll be the talk of the summer, I’m sure. If he doesn’t sign a new contract, then obviously somebody is getting a top player on a free transfer if he isn’t sold this summer. Rice out of loyalty may tell West Ham he wants to go now because the club will get some money back for him.” Regardless, Winterburn thinks Rice and West Ham will come to an agreement on the best pathway forward to get a transfer done. “It looks to me that’s the way everybody wants it to play out, but we’ll have to see who is willing to pay a huge chunk of money to take him away from West Ham,” Winterburn said. “It does look as if he’s going to move though and I’m sure some of the big clubs in the Premier League will be monitoring the situation. I could be wide of the mark and a club actually matches the value, it’s a huge amount of money though, but I have been wrong before and I could be again.”How do you feel about a potential acquisition of Rice? According to transfer maven Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich will not pick up the option to buy Manchester City loanee Joao Cancelo. Romano has reported that it would take €70 million to acquire Cancelo, a figure which is far too high for a club like Bayern Munich, which already has Benjamin Pavard, Alphonso Davies, Noussair Mazraoui, and Josip Stanišić manning the outside-back positions. Even with some relative uncertainty surrounding the respective contract status of Pavard and Davies, along with rumored unhappiness for Mazraoui and a potential loan assignment for Stanišić, spending that number on an outside-back when the team desperately needs a new striker (and maybe a central midfielder as well) would not be prudent:Understand Manchester City are ready to sell João Cancelo this summer. (Disclaimer: some of the figures are rough estimates, there may be some discrepancies). For context, West Ham were bought for £85 million in 2006 by an Icelandic consortium whereas Spurs were worth roughly £81.5 million when chairman Daniel Levy raised his total stake to 29.9% in 2000 which, in today’s prices, are equivalent to £157.3 million and £175.5 million respectively. In today’s world of high prices, Bayern are in a tough spot since the club is known for being cautious with the money reserves. In the case of Kane, however, Bayern need to spend big if they aim to achieve their goals.

FC Bayern München v Celtic FC - UEFA Champions League 2024/25 League Knockout Play-off Second Leg Photo by Harry Langer/DeFodi Images via Getty Images Bayern Munich is hosting Bayer Leverkusen in the UCL today... Bayern sets price on Coman (Bild via @iMiaSanMia)Bayern Munich has extended quite a few players so far, with a few others reportedly nearing new deals. In addition, Bayern Munich looks as if it is prepared to push all of its chips to the middle of the table in an effort to get Florian Wirtz this summer. To even attempt to afford all of these moves, Bayern Munich has to generate funds from somewhere — and one source of income could be a sale of Kingsley Coman: Bayern have set a €35-45m price tag for Kingsley Coman. Arsenal and Saudi Pro League are potential destinations for the Frenchman, who is open to a summer move. Coman is one of the players Bayern want to offload to reduce the wage bill and raise funds.Uh...Coman is not worth that much anymore. At 28-years-old, inconsistent, and oft-injured, Coman does not offer much a skill-set that clubs cannot find or develop for a lot less money. Moreover, Coman’s struggles with his crossing and finishing have continued on from his early days at Bayern Munich. It would be awesome to see Bayern Munich get as much as it is asking, but — in reality — Coman is just a guy with some close-range explosiveness, some good ideas, and a willingness to defend. Sure, those are wanted traits in today’s game, but there are more complete, better players who will be available for less money. All that said, godspeed to Bayern Munich if it can get that type of fee for Coman in today’s market. Šeško on the move? (@Plettigoal)RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško does, indeed, have a release clause and several clubs — Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal FC — are interested: EXCL | Until now, there had only been talk of a verbal agreement, but Benjamin #Sesko has a formally fixed release clause in his contract until 2029. Currently, the clause stands at around €70m for the 21-y/o top striker, but by the end of the season, it is expected to reach approximately €80m.All top English clubs have expressed interest, including Manchester United, Tottenham, and Arsenal. The only club not involved in the race is Manchester City. #MUFC #AFC #MCFC However, Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg noted that Chelsea FC could also get involved and Tottenham might not really have a chance to land Šeško: RB Leipzig are aware of the strong interest from several top Premier League clubs in Benjamin #Sesko. As previously revealed, the 21-y/o top striker has a formally fixed release clause for the summer, which could rise to €80m by the end of the season.Tottenham currently have little chance, while Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all expressed concrete interest. #MUFC #CFC #AFCThe timing of all of this is...troublesome if you are like this author, who think Šeško could be the ideal successor for Harry Kane. Here is to hoping that Wanner makes that breakthrough that so many fans think he is capable of — and Stuttgart could be a great place for that to happen.
