πΌ4 March 1948. Christopher Russell Edward Squire was born in London. Known as Chris Squire, he was the #bassist, backing vocalist and founding member of the fantastic progressive rock band Yes, which along with contemporaries #Genesis, #KingCrimson, Emerson Lake & Palmer (#ELP), #VanderGraafGenerator, #GentleGiant, #Camel and many more, indelibly marked the Progressive Rock Era of the early 70s in the UK! Chris left this world in 2015, to remember him I chose maybe the most famous song he wrote for #Yes in 1971, 50 years ago, along with his band mate Jon Anderson π€πΈπΆ

πΌ17 December 1971. 50 years ago David Bowie releases one of his absolute art rock masterpieces: his fourth studio album Hunky Dory, which Bowie partly dedicates to 3 American legends of the time: #AndyWarhol, #BobDylan, #LouReed.
It's also the first Bowie album in which amazing #guitarist Mick Ronson πΈand #keyboardist Rick Wakeman πΉ(who will soon join #Yes) appear.
In the Chat Roomπ the link for listening to the entire album, I'm sure everyone can recognize some of its iconic songs like "Changes" or "Life on Mars" π€
