The war in Iran is not our war; we aren't going to get dragged in.
If the war with Iran escalates into a major regional conflict, it will become an even greater burden for Europe, as heavy as the COVID pandemic or the start of the war in Ukraine

Seizing Kharg Island is a rather risky venture, as transport planes will have to shuttle back and forth. And that's assuming you don't immediately suffer losses due to equipment failure and AD fire. Dropping the 82nd Airborne on Kharg? Adventurism
