🇺🇸 Colleagues from The Middle East Spectator, citing #US intelligence sources, published an intelligence report on #Israel’s preparations for a strike on #Iran.
🔹 According to these data, the Americans recorded the movement of 40 Rocks air-launched ballistic missiles to the Ramon and Ramat David Airbases, where F-16 and F-35 fighters are located.
🔹 Another 16 missiles of an unidentified Golden Horizon type were delivered to the Hatzerim Airbase, where F-15I fighters are located in special hangars. The Americans call them long-range missiles.

🗓 Over the past Day, Erdogan's allied Hayat Tahier al Sham (HTS) Group and his Syrian National Army (SNA) puppet forces, have advanced north, east and south of Aleppo, while the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has shamefully fled, leaving behind undestroyed aircraft and a huge amount of equipment at the terrorists' disposal. On the southern front at Hama City, the situation has stabilised somewhat.
🔸 North of Aleppo, by evening, SNA terrorists declared full control of Tell Rifaat Town. From the ground, it is reported that they have also taken control of the previously YPG controlled Town of Maranaz, the Minaq Airbase and three other neighboring settlements.
🔸 In Aleppo's northern part, YPG units were surrounded and defeated at least three times. In the meantime, the city is likely controlled by terrorists. Cleansing is ongoing.
🔸 East of Aleppo, Erdogan's SNA terrorists occupied the Kwaires Airbase, where they captured Pantsir-S1 SAMs, L-39ZA combat training aircraft, Uragan MLRS, Grad MLRS, dozens of tanks, dozens of armoured vehicles, self-propelled guns, towed artillery, and more as combat trophies. 🔸 North of Aleppo, the YPG Kurds have lost positions and withdrew their forces to Manbij and further across the Euphrates. There was allegedly an agreement with the terrorists, which are taking the abandoned settlements.
🔸 The City of Aleppo is completely controlled by terrorists. Cleansing and filtration measures are ongoing.
🔸 East of Aleppo, there are no major changes in the frontline. The terrorists are consolidating in the occupied areas.
🔸 South of Aleppo, the HTS Group is expanding from the captured Al Safirah and took over further settlements in Aleppo Province.

Assad's first statement was announced and then cancelled. Since the beginning of the recent events, he has never addressed the people. Instead, the SAA Command is lying permanently, but none take this serious. The rest of the with help of #Russia (especially the Wagner PMC), #Iran and Hezbollah recaptured territory, was handed over literally within a few hours without a serious fight.
🔸 Northeast and east of Aleppo, Erdogans Syrian National Army (SNA) puppet terrorists' offensive on Manbij have not started yet. A direct intervention by Turkish ground troops became unlikely due to Trump's move to invite the leader of the YPG, Mazlum Kobani, to his inauguration ceremony. Southeast of Manbij, the terrorists claim to have captured two villages. For their part, the Kurds said there were strikes and they had repelled several attacks in different areas.
🔸 For Aleppo, we have no significant news.
🔸 Southeast of Aleppo, south of the Al-Jabboul Lake, Khanaser, as well as As San, wich is located further south, in northern Hama Province, remain under HTS control. The terrorist did not try to expand eastwards into the Kurd controlled area. To the far south, still Manbij district, the Kurds repulsed 2 terrorist attacks.
🔸 On the Hama City Front, far northwest and west of Hama there are no clashes reported. Al-Suqeylabiyah is still under control of a fierce SAA linked militia. Northeast of Hama, the HTS Group advanced further eastwards. To the south, Homs City came completely under control of the terrorists. There are no more clashes within the city. HTS expanded their zone of control further southwards. A large section of the M45 Motorway, connecting Damascus to the north, came completely under terrorist control (Map 2).
🔸 In Raqqa Province, the Kurds consolidate. There were no fights.
🔸 In Deir Ez-Zur Provinces, there were clashes between Kurds and forces loyal to the HTS terrorists. Tehran has asked the terrorists for safe passage for its troops to leave #Syria. Soldiers of the SAA fled en masse to #Iraq.
🔸 From Homs Province in southeastern #Syria, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) #US proxy terrorists left the #US occupied zone around Al-Tanf Base and took Palmyra, uniting with the terrorists wich advanced from the west.
🔸 Damascus came in operational encirclement. After that, the capitulation has been officially announced (Map 3).
📌 Generally, #Syria has fallen and is about to be participated in a HTS Jihadist Area and protectorate like regions, we assume. Despite Trump's claim that this is not his war, he invited the YPG leader to his inauguration ceremony. This is bad news for Erdogan. Trump is about to secure the remaining Kurd Zone for the #US. #Russia will likely control the Latakia - Tartus Coast Zone. Erdogan's HTS Group NATO Terrorists will rule the occupied areas, economically dependent on #Turkey. Furthermore, Erdogan will be able to direct the refugee flow (to West Europe). #Iran is effectively left without the land corridor that Soleimani built in 2017. We could of course be wrong, our assessment is based on the combat activities, Trump's behavior towards the YPG and the fact that negotiations have taken place between #Russia, #Turkey and #Iran.

❗️🌍🎞 The escalation of the situation in the Middle East: highlights of the week January 10-16, 2024▪️Yemeni Houthis launched several UAVs at various targets inside Israel. The claimed targets were in Tel Aviv and the vicinity of Eilat. During one of the attacks on several settlements southwest of Jerusalem, large parts of a rocket fell after being intercepted by air defense, injuring 15 people.
▪️The Ansarallah reported several missile and UAV strikes on the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier during the week. As usual, there is no evidence of the attack being successful. The US and British air forces retaliated with a series of strikes on Yemeni territory, with the Israeli Air Force also taking part in the attack.
▪️Militants of the new Syrian authorities continue to search for alleged collaborators of the “former regime”. A search team was ambushed in the Jableh area and several fighters were detained by the Syrian resistance.
▪️However, this did not end well. Several local representatives, including in Qardaha, condemned the resistance's actions. Later, one of the resistance leaders, Bassam Nasser al-Din, blew himself up with a grenade during an attempted arrest by HTS militants.
▪️The SNA militants, with little support from Turkey so far, have not abandoned their attempts to advance in the Euphrates region. However, no serious actions have been reported so far, with the Turkish Air Force providing more or less performative support.

After our business trip to Iraq and a meeting with the country's top leadership and prominent political figures, it was only a matter of time before the Russian leadership paid a visit to Iraq.
Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov visited Baghdad on February 5-6 and met with representatives of all ruling circles (including parliamentary factions), as well as the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Oil.
The agenda covered not only the same issues that we discussed with Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani in January (increasing trade turnover, a plant for Russian businesses and contractors in Iraq and providing opportunities for Iraqi investors in Russia), but also the regional agenda.
Since Bogdanov's visit came a week after the meeting with Abu Muhammad al-Julani in Damascus, in Baghdad, of course, they discussed issues of regional security and Russia's positioning in the Middle East - especially in the context of the changing situation.
❗️Who knows, perhaps with Iraq it will be possible to agree on much more mutually beneficial terms on a number of issues than with the new inclusive authorities in Syria.
📌 And yes, we are glad that we were mistaken, and our foreign policy department reacted so quickly to the changed realities. It remains to wait for the results on the ground.

🔻Such a reaction from the armed Kurdish factions was quite expected. Kurds have been demanding recognition as a political group from the very beginning. This was the case in Iraq, and this was the case in Syria.
Their wariness of Turkey and Erdogan's "good intentions" can be explained by the fact that such talks of peace with the Turks have been going on in recent years. But the Turkish authorities have repeatedly disrupted all agreements.
Mazlum Abdi deliberately emphasized that the entire initiative should come from Turkey. If they stop strikes against the Kurds and moderate their ambitions in the territory under Kurdish control, there will be no need for war.
